What payment types do you accept?
Air Rite Service Supply, Inc. uses both Authorize.net and Paypal as secure payment gateways for online payments. At order checkout, you will be redirected to the secure site of the chosen payment processor where your payment will be processed. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Paypal also provides you with the added convenience of being able to pay using an electronic check or funds from your paypal account. If you already have a Paypal account, you will be given the opportunity to login. Please note: You may be given the option to create a Paypal account during the checkout process. Creating an account is completely optional and not required for you to make a purchase from us using your credit card. Air Rite Service Supply, Inc. does not have access to any confidential information you share with Authorize.net or Paypal.
What is your shipping policy?
In most cases, we ship via UPS using the service you have chosen. Orders placed before 9:00am EST (our cut off time) generally ship the same day (Monday thru Friday; as long as UPS is accepting shipments on that day). If you have chosen upgraded shipping and need the products you ordered by a certain date, please call us at 800-228-8209 / 216-228-8200 during regular business hours to verify your shipping status. We make every effort to accommodate your shipping requests!
Will I be charged for anything additional such as a handling fee?
No! We don’t add on any extra fees or charges.
Can I return my order?
Sure! As long as it is new and unused and can be repackaged for sale (if necessary). Kindly see if you purchased the correct sizes/items before you take them all out of their packages! Please note that shipping is not credited and return shipping is not reimbursed. You might consider insuring your shipment because we cannot be responsible for damage by your shipper.
We do not accept returns on the following: electrical items (both high and low voltage), threaded controls or fitting, special order items, “balanced” items such as blower wheels, specially fabricated orders, and “final sale” items.
Is installation hardware included?
Yes! Long mounting screws are included for attaching registers to the wall. Please note that wall anchors are not included.
Can I paint the register assembly a different color?
Yes, but it will take some effort. Up front, we must say that any home center aerosol type product will not perform as well as any professional grade product, liquid or powder. In order to repaint, you will need to “scuff” the surface to break the sealed coating, either with 400 grit sandpaper or a Scotchbrite pad (red one). Then the surfaces must be wiped cleaned with denatured alcohol or plain water. Use a good rag that doesn’t shed lint. Avoid touching the product with your bare hands, because the oils will contaminate the surface again and the paint won’t stick very well and the finish will be uneven. We don’t recommend one spray enamel brand in particular. You should avoid water based or latex spray paints. A good finish takes time…..several light coats of paint should do the trick. Consult the paint manufacturer’s instructions.
What is your warranty policy?
- Regarding non-Air Rite Made items:
The usual manufacturer warranty is one (1) year from original date of purchase as long as you purchased the item(s) from us. Terms and conditions of the original manufacturer’s warranty apply with common and usual exemptions, such as: misuse, miswiring, external power utility problems, water damage, and other acts of God. Consult with us before you buy if you need to know the particulars about a certain product and its associated warranty.
IMPORTANT: In some cases, you might not receive reimbursement, credit, or an exchange until we do. In other words, if a manufacturer will not extend warranty credit to Air Rite, we will not in turn extend it to you. This is a rare, yet possible scenario, so please be aware that it could happen. Also, the final determination of warranty eligibility rests solely with us. Our determination shall be deemed to be final.
- Regarding Air Rite Made items (registers, laundry chute doors, custom air filters):
Air Rite, Inc. warrants that its own branded products will be free from defects in material and workmanship and conform to the manufacturer's specifications for the structure in which it is originally installed. This warranty is extended to the original end user for one year from date of purchase.
Your sole and exclusive remedy and Air Rite, Inc’s sole obligation under this warranty is to correct any failure by repair, replacement or adjustment, or at Air Rite, Inc’s sole option and discretion, to take back the product and refund the purchase price.
This warranty covers only normal customer use of the product. Air Rite, Inc. shall not be liable under this warranty if any damage or defect results from misuse, abuse, neglect, improper shipping or installation.
Air Rite, Inc. makes no other warranty, either express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity to any representation or description, with respect to this product other than as set forth above. Air Rite, Inc. makes no warranty or representation, either express or implied, with respect to any other manufacturer's product or documentation, its quality, performance, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity to any representation or description.
Except as provided above, Air Rite, Inc. is not liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience or damage, including direct, indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages, that may result from the use or inability to use the product. Under no circumstances shall Air Rite, Inc. be liable for any loss, cost expense, inconvenience or damage exceeding the purchase price of the product.
The warranty and remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all others, oral or written, expressed or implied. No Air Rite, Inc. distributor, reseller, agent or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension or addition to this warranty.
